African
Nations Cup 2004 on Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ
The
African Nations Cup: Tunisia 2004 – Africa's premier
football tournament – will be the centrepiece of Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ THREE's
winter schedule for 2004.
Mark
Bright and Mark Pougatch present Match of the Day
on Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ THREE, with a match broadcast in full on every day of the
tournament, beginning with hosts Tunisia taking on Rwanda on the
opening day.
Commentary
on matches will come from seasoned Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ experts Steve Wilson
and Simon Brotherton who are joined in the commentary box
by former Sheffield Wednesday and Nigeria striker Efan Ekoku
and former Nigerian captain Stephen Keshi.
Garth
Crooks
will present Match of the Day on Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ TWO throughout
the tournament, with full highlights, comment and analysis from
each dayÂ’s play.
The
2004 Cup, the 24th in the tournament's history, begins on 24 January
with the final on 14 February and takes place in Tunisia, north
Africa.
The
Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ Sport Website will have full match reports, team and player

World Service will broadcast all the news from the African Nations
Cup in Sports Roundup and World Football and Radio Five Live

African Nations Cup is part of the Africa Kicks season on Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ THREE.
Kicking
off with the football tournament, the season also showcases a series
of intelligent documentaries that challenge preconceptions about
Africa and offer an insight into the lives of some of its 690 million
people.
