Creative & Business Director, Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ in-house Comedy

Anne Gilchrist became Creative & Business Director, Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ in-house Comedy in September 2009. Prior to this, she was Controller of CÄ¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ, commissioning all CÄ¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ content appearing on Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ One, Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ Two and the CÄ¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ channel with responsibility for the CÄ¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ brand in all its manifestations across marketing, scheduling, online and presentation.

After many years working in production on a diverse selection of programming - such as Incredible Games, Live And Kicking, Blue Peter and The Ant And Dec Show - she went on to be Head of Development and Head of Entertainment for CÄ¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ and latterly CÄ¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ's Executive Editor of Independents and Events.

She also spent two years working closely with former Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ One Controller Lorraine Heggessey as Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ One's Channel Executive.

Anne is currently on attachment elsewhere in the Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ and Damian Kavanagh is acting Controller, CÄ¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ.
