Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ Audiobooks is to start distributing audio material in Kazakhstan after a collaboration with Polygon International, a Kazakh distributor that works to bring the world's finest English language content to the country.
In this Central Asian country the national language is Kazakh and the business language is Russian, however young people increasingly want to learn English and several international schools have recently opened in the main cities. Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ Audiobooks will sell products from its vast back catalogue of classic Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ content and popular children’s stories to schools and book fairs, with the aim that teachers and parents can use the CDs in learning sessions.
Some of the products that will be available in the Kazakh market include Agatha Christie Radio 4 plays, The Sarah Jane Adventures, Just So Stories and The Tweenies.
"The Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ brand is well known and respected in Kazakhstan and we are delighted to have this opportunity to bring our audio titles to a brand new audience", says Anna Thylin, International Development Manager for Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ Audiobooks.
