The issue is with the 'computer' that runs apps on the TV. This 'computer' can be part of the actual TV itself, the set top box (Virgin, Sky, Freeview), or a streaming stick plugged into the back of the TV. Over time, these little computers can’t always keep up with the latest updates and security improvements, which means we struggle to keep our apps working on them.&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;</li><li data-list-item-id="ea7a76bea1262efb913635bd2510dd9af"><strong>We try to keep TV devices working as long as possible.</strong> We work closely with manufacturers to keep iPlayer running for many years.
