Etholle's BIG questions:

What was your first radio memory?

Listening to Bob Holness and Douglas Cameron on LBC when I was very young. I think most of my school friends were watching cartoons at the time and I was listening to news programmes - quite sad really!

How did you first get into radio?

I did hospital radio at Radio Forest, based at St Margarets Hospital in Epping, where I presented a midweek evening show called 'The Wednesday Roundabout'.

Then I came to Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ Essex as a volunteer. My first job was to compile the shopper's car parking report, letting listeners know how full the car parks were on Saturday mornings.

What is your favourite song ever?

Ooh that's a tough one! Given no choice I guess it would have to be a track by a band from Ohio called Blessed Union of Souls called 'Lucky to Be Here' - it's about being thankful for what you have and I want it played at my funeral....

Given a choice I'd throw in Bob Marley's 'Redemption Song' and 'My Destiny' by Lionel Ritchie.

What one thing makes Essex so special?

Its variety of landscape and architecture... just add a few mountains and we'd have everything!
