Can I access Ģ��Ƶ Bitesize material outside the UK?

Ģ��Ƶ Bitesize online is accessible internationally, but all games, audio-video and animated content are geolocked to the UK.

This protects the value of the service for UK licence fee payers, and will help ensure that international visitors are not confused by content which is inappropriate to their local curriculum.

The Ģ��Ƶ uses pop-up surveys across its UK websites to gather feedback about those sites. Usually, a message will appear on a page advising, ‘Do you have a few minutes to tell us what you think of this site?' and you can select either yes or no. These surveys help us to improve our services and we really value users taking the time to complete one.

However, you may see a pop-up survey with a message asking you to take part which you feel is suspicious. Such messages, which may tempt you with a chance to win something, are not authorised by the Ģ��Ƶ and are most likely the result of a virus or an undesired download from another source.

In such circumstances, we recommend that you ensure your security software is up to date before scanning your computer for any viruses/malware. Whilst we appreciate reports from users about any such pop-up messages, we cannot do anything to prevent them or provide further support as the issue will be with the computer being used.

Without signing in, you won't be able to play programmes or benefit from the personalised features that Ģ��Ƶ iPlayer offers. Signing in is quick, free and easy and you should stay signed in for two years on each web browser or app. Sign in isn’t required to watch children’s content through your web browser.

We need to understand more about what people are watching to ensure we are providing something for everyone. Up until now, we could only tell how many people used Ģ��Ƶ iPlayer, but having more data like age, gender and location will ensure we’re better serving all our audience.

Can I watch my local Ģ��Ƶ news programmes in HD?

Currently it's only possible to watch your local news programming in Standard Definition (or SD), including Ģ��Ƶ Newsline, Ģ��Ƶ Midlands Today, Reporting Scotland or whatever regional news programme comes on after our main Ģ��Ƶ News at Six.

This might mean that if you are watching Ģ��Ƶ One HD, you will have to change channels to Ģ��Ƶ One to watch your local news.

We understand that this could be frustrating for you and are looking into solutions that would allow us to bring more High Definition (or HD) local news to you. Delivery is dependent on many factors, including technology changes and cost, and the constraints we face with broadcast capacity....
