In these examples, you hear how to use the thu form of you to ask where someone is from and say where you come from:

Hello. I’m Malcolm.
Hello, Malcolm. Where are you from?
I'm from Glasgow. Where are you from? (literally: Where are you from yourself?)
I'm from Paisley.
Do you live in Paisley?
No. I live in Edinburgh. Do you live in Glasgow?
Yes. I still live in Glasgow.
