In these examples, you hear how to use the thu form of you to ask where someone is from and say where you come from:
- Hello. I’m Malcolm.
- Hello, Malcolm. Where are you from?
- I'm from Glasgow. Where are you from? (literally: Where are you from yourself?)
- I'm from Paisley.
- Do you live in Paisley?
- No. I live in Edinburgh. Do you live in Glasgow?
- Yes. I still live in Glasgow.
